My game crashes between maps/areas - silentkillx1 - 09-13-2010
I have tried the fix to completely allow Read/write among all users, all folders dealing with the game.
It appeared to work at first, but it is still happening.
I have tried messing around with the graphics with nothing that appears to be working.
the hpl.log is of my last play when it crashes upon entering the archives... after finding out you need a key to the wine cellar

Might be a sound problem. Try choosing another sound device in launcher.

Final tip
It might also be that you have gotten corrupt cache files. Best way to solve that is to probably reinstall the game.

I have Windows 7... it's not the sound i tried the other choices. i've reinstalled once or twice before, but it doesn't hurt to try again.
I'll post again if there are any changes

When reininstallling, remember to uninstall first. So u make sure all files are overwritten.
Where did you get the game btw?
