I would guess one of the projects is their next big game, which will likely be in development for a time compareable to SOMA, while the other is either an expansion or a smaller game project, which is meant to fill the gap between SOMA and the next big project, just like AAMFP filled the gap between TDD and SOMA.

In the in-development section on the games page, Project 1 and 2 share the same image on the left, called bild.jpg. From what I've gathered bild is just German for image.

What if the next project is Amnesia3? - YontiYontz - 03-23-2016

On the Amnesia Reddit I have theorized we would get an Amnesia set in WW2. It is the perfect setting for a truly dark and gruesome game that could live up to the TDD. Project 1 & 2 on Frictional Games go under file name "bild" which means image in German. Now I will not run to conclusions but this kind of backs up my ideas for a WW2 Amnesia game. I know technically a WW2 game is something too touchy to delve into but knowing Frictional Games they make some messed up but satisfying games so I would not doubt this. We could also be getting SOMA DLC which is possible given the existence of two Simons. Or we could get two completely new games which I would not mind. Or if your a long time fan... Maybe another Penumbra ;3
