My opinion is Amnesia 3 will be an spiritual succesor to Amnesia games and not necessary tied to them.

My wish it will be horror story with more dark fantasy/steampunk elements, great narration as SOMA was and with some kind of defensive combat mechanics (spells and not overpowered weapons tied in to the lore.)

Sorry but your ''Bild'' theory falls apart rather quickly, Frictional is Swedish, and Bild happens to be the swedish word for image aswell.

Forest is awesome for creating eerie horror theme.
Best lovecraftian game is Bloodborne. This is environment athmosphere of
Forbidden Woods, one of best level designed areas:

I would like that in next game project, stealth would become more viable for the player. Player could paralyze/disable or put down enemies when in stealth from behind.

As much as I Love Amnesia, I am hoping for more of Soma adventures.

Then again, any new or sequel game from Frictional Games, as I love all their games.
The graphics, the stories, the game play, the sound so, so good.

When reading the 'six months on' blog, I got the impression that one of the reasons for making two games, was that one will be a game that appeals to the masses (and brings in the bacon) while the other one will be a game that appeals to a more niche market like the fans of SOMA.

The WWII thing might be interesting if they make it about something like the holocaust; obscure mass exterminations, piles of bodies, experiments etc. But that maybe is just a little too controversial. I would be intrigued though.
