Invisible Editor Created Map - Jordo76 - 09-15-2010
Hello,i've maked a map on the Level Editor of Amnesia : The Dark Descent but she's just invisible so i tried to play it but in fact she's here but invisible like hidden...
I use Win7 and when i edited the map i didn't use "Launch as Administrator" Option,this is the cause...
How to fix this and make the map,"physical" ?

Did you add a light to the level? Did you add a PlayerStart Area?

I don't mean that i can't play ingame,i can but in the folder there is no map but the .hps but i can still run the map by launching the level editor WITHOUT Administrator and by playing the game...

So what you mean is that the file is occult, you need to go to your window settings and search there for Show occult files or something like that. I don't know how it is in English because I have Spanish OS

Jordo76 Some files are hidden in windows 7 but you can easily find your map in the VirtualStore
Follow : 1/ Create a shortcut on the Desktop and use this way : C:\Users\*yoursessionname*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore
2/ So a Folder called VirtualStore will be created.
3/ Open it
4/ Double click at Program Files -> Amnesia's folder -> redist -> The folder where you saved your map
5/ Now.. SURPRISE : Your map file is here !
