After the postmortem blog on Amensia, people are now gifting the game to other random people in hopes they "pay it forward" and in turn buy and gift it to someone else.

It seems to be helping because Amnesia has reentered steam's current top sellers list.

The "paying it forward" movement is still going strong! Amnesia has moved up from the #10 spot to #7! Yesterday afternoon it wasn't even in the top ten!

I put this on the frontpage of evilavatar.com a couple of days ago. Gonna do the same with the Paying it forward thread.

Edit 2: Just went ahead and bought their entire collection from their own internet store as well. I have the games on Steam already but figured it would be nice to have a non-DRM copy as well so I can easily play it on my laptop when traveling.
