Same, Sorry Thomas, the Autosave system seemed to have gotten rid of prior to the Cistern Saves. Too bad theres no option to make your own save games so we can just keep a save at the beginning of each section without fear of it being overwritten.

Open game.cfg in the "config" folder with a tex editor.
look for
MaxAutoSaves = "20"
and change 20 to how many saves you like. For example:
MaxAutoSaves = "60"
