Problem with initial download of Amnesia - Superfan99 - 09-27-2010 I just bought the game last night, so I waited until this morning before I went to school to download it. I left my laptop on and it downloaded. When I came home it said that the download was stopped due to "Unexpected end of archive" and that "The archive is damaged" So I downloaded it again. 3 hours it took me. And once it finally finished it says that the download failed and when I try to use winrar on the file it doesn't work. I'm not really sure what's wrong here, I have a new PC so I doubt there's anything wrong with that. Can someone maybe give me a new download link or something? Thanks. RE: Problem with initial download of Amnesia - Tanshaydar - 09-28-2010 Tried to use Flashget or Orbit? Some browsers may corrupt the data. RE: Problem with initial download of Amnesia - Superfan99 - 09-28-2010 I'm trying flashget now. I really hope it works =P Unsuccessful. Is there a way to order the game like a hard copy? RE: Problem with initial download of Amnesia - Tanshaydar - 09-28-2010 Nope, it's just being sold in Russia, no other hard copy. I wish there would, but unfortunately no. You can try to pm devs. RE: Problem with initial download of Amnesia - Superfan99 - 09-29-2010 Can you explain how Orbit works? How do I go about downloading the instillation file through there? RE: Problem with initial download of Amnesia - Tanshaydar - 09-29-2010 Well, I was using Firefox with Flashgot addon. Flashgot immediately recognizes Orbit. I login, click to download, Save with Flashgot- which redirects to Orbit, then Orbit opens up and you can download. Orbit and Flashget is nearly same, but I didn't use Flashget for a long long time. I'm using orbit since the 2.x versions |
