Just installed version 1.0.1 on Ubuntu 10.10. I'm using nvidia drivers version 260.19.06 with xorg version 1.9. If I run in fullscreen mode, i have no cursor. If I run in windowed mode, the game does not capture the cursor properly and limits it to the edges of my screen. I'd really like to play this game.

Maybe trying non-beta-drivers first?!

Yea, Please try with the official release drivers from nvidia and if the problem does NOT exist with the release versions then file a bug with nvidia.

Forgot I was using xorg-edgers ppa, sorry about that. I needed it near the beginning of the 10.10 cycle for nvidia drivers, now i can use x-swat. I will let you know what happens.

Since 260 is now used in both the stable ppa, and is in the repositories, I downloaded the 256.53 drivers from nVidia. I still have the same issue as with the beta drivers. Any other ideas?

Can you get me some screenshots of what it looks like in windowed mode?
Also, do note that in the "menus" the mouse cursor can leave the game window, but when you are in a level and NOT in a menu the cursor is locked inside the game window.
Also can you attach your hpl.log and launcher.log (in your ~/.frictionalgames/Amnesia/Main/ directory)

Turns out that I had also forgot to downgrade the version of xorg. I was using git
. Sorry about that. It's all working now.
