The HPL2 Wiki Thread - Frontcannon - 10-13-2010

I made this thread because I think we need a place where we can coordinate and manage Frictional's HPL2 Wiki. Here we can, for example, debate the design of the new Tutorial Page or discuss stuff people want to have a tutorial on.

If you want to make a tutorial, post it here! And now I'm off again, still some stuff to fix..

What you could do
The Troubleshooting Page is a bit.. empty
Start creating the Entities Page!
More scripting tutorials, better documentation of the Script Functions

Cool! Now we can get more tutorials up! Big Grin

BTW, how did you get the power to edit the wiki?

You can't discuss on the wiki? Well that kind of sucks.

Oh, you can, but we are few and a thread in the forum gets way more exposure!

There isn't a way to discuss things on the wiki though? I don't see any talk pages for any of the articles.

It's possible, but you need this PlugIn for it, and installing that is Frictional's job, not mine Sad

Does anyone else think it's unnecessary to have a separate section for user created tutorials? Since the wiki can be freely edited by anyone there's no reason to keep content separate like that, unless it's a video tutorial series or something.

RE: The HPL2 Wiki Thread - Frontcannon - 10-16-2010

I think it's the best solution for now, because if you want to include the tutorials in the Main section they somehow have to fit the theme of the other tutorials or everyting becomes kind of random and disorganized.

I know it contradicts the idea of a Wiki but unless we have someone who creates tutorials that actually BUILD on the ones from Frictional, I don't see no other resort..
