File not extracting from DRM-free version - cathargy - 08-19-2016
I got the drm-free version of SOMA from Humble Bundle, and one dds file will not extract from the zip folder. The error message is as below.
"SOMA_Windows_1470351714.zip: CRC failed in SOMA Windows\entities\urban\ornament\magazine_tech\magazine_tech.dds. The file is corrupt"
I'm on Windows 10, I've tried Winzip and WinRAR, and I've downloaded the game twice now using direct download and torrent from the Humble Bundle website. The game seems to start up without any issue, but I was hoping someone knew what was going on.
Any ideas?

I can confirm that file is not essential for the gameplay and will not impede your progress, but it's the first I've heard of that particular error from extracting it. It's really odd that it won't extract even from a second download, since if there were any problems, it would be fixed with a redownload.
