I had bouight the game " The Dark Descent" from Desura. But at the time i did not know the company went out of buisness and not able to play the game off of desura. I tried to enter the key on to steam. But i am getting the error code "Invalid Product Code". How can i resove this problem?

The key cannot be used on Steam since it's not theirs. The only possible thing I can think of is https://shelf.frictionalgames.com but that might not work either with that key. Perhaps someone from FG would be able to credit you a new copy since you seem to have already bought it, and it really is a shame that Desura isn't available.
