I've read how to get the custom stories working but when I search for the rir program I just get a list of multiple sites and each with loads of versions could someone put a link up to the right one plese. Thanks in advance.

Sorry I ment the Winrar program to extract rar.files.

just take the file/map and extract them into your Custom_stories map located in your default installing map

You extract it in "amnesia the dark descent/custom_stories".
After that, you start the game and select "Custom Story" from the main menu.
Select the one you want to play and double click it, now press "Start" to play the story.
Oh, and to extract, right-click the .rar file and press "Extract here..."

I know how to extract files and where to extract them to but with rar. files it doesn't give me the chose to extract them.
