Cistern glitch - JayHaloBeast - 11-25-2010
Hello!
Well, I flew through the two puzzles that were in the Cistern area. But, when I pull the left lever for the bridge to come down, it doesn't move. Now, I've re-loaded the save and it's still doing the same thing. I've even gone out of my way to do the puzzles in a different order. And it's still not doing anything.
Any suggestions?
Actually, a solution is no longer needed. Turns out I had place the pipes in the machinery area to get the brigde working again in the wrong place. I've just injected myself with the bloob from the freshly used body in the morgue. I was shit scared once that door broke...

is there going to be a patch for this, this is my second play through and its happened. I try to push control just before landing on the ledge but i always fall down. I also hold control and hold mouse to the right after i just land onto ledge. seems like i can't even feel it or i bounce off

played through the game again and once again the eastern bridge will not come down. Cannot proceed passed this point
Here's what i do:
I enter the water works room, bring down the ladder, then I proceed to the western bridge and turn the 3 cranks. I then go and do the weights puzzle, turning them until they click and then I can't turn them anymore. I then pull the first and last lever, put the three pipes in place, hear the baron's voice and then when I pull down the lever for the eastern bridge nothing happens.

If you hear the barons voice when you think you have completed the puzzle it means you have not. The voice is played after completing two out of three puzzles.
If you can still interact (as in move) any of the wheels, levers or pipes the puzzles are not completed.

You need to pull the other levers too, in the opposite direction! They start out in the middle.
