Unique Monster in Choir? - Childerich - 12-02-2010 Hi everyone, I just came across this rather puzzling passage in Amnesia's Wikipedia entry: "The Choir is also inhabited by a large unnamed monster who wields a massive knife and wears a bloodstained sack-cloth robe and hood, who is faster, stronger and more persistent than the other monsters. He is capable of killing Daniel in two hits instead of the three the others require, and will not leave an area for a very long while if he spots Daniel." Can anybody confirm this? I remember encountering several monsters in the Choir, but I'm quite positive those were only "ordinary" Brutes. RE: Unique Monster in Choir? - Som1Lse - 12-02-2010 It is the ordinary Brute. Guess even Wikipedia fails now and then RE: Unique Monster in Choir? - Bourlingueur - 12-02-2010 Well, in my case, there is a brute in the Choir which stayed around for a very long time after showing up... maybe that's the one. Not sure though. I really didn't felt like staying long in the Choir. :p RE: Unique Monster in Choir? - Aphotic - 12-03-2010 (12-02-2010, 11:26 PM)Bourlingueur Wrote: Well, in my case, there is a brute in the Choir which stayed around for a very long time after showing up... maybe that's the one. Really? I found the Choir quite relaxing. If you check with the level editor you can see that there aren't any other monsters than the Grunt, Brute and Waterlurker. There are however many Brutes in the Choir and that make many feel that the first one never disappears. It does however. (12-02-2010, 11:26 PM)Bourlingueur Wrote: Not sure though. EDIT: That was slightly redundant. RE: Unique Monster in Choir? - Kein - 12-03-2010 It was normal Brute. You lie RE: Unique Monster in Choir? - stevensonbak - 12-18-2010 The only time I ever saw a brute was in the Morgue, all of the enemies I faced prior to and after the morgue were Grunts and water monsters... Had me thinking, "Wow, what a waste of a badass character model..." RE: Unique Monster in Choir? - LoneWolf - 12-18-2010 Well i looked it up in level editor, the statement on wiki is a lie. It's a normal brute obviosuly and all brutes normally kill in 1 hit as far as i know and they break doors down in 1 hit i believe. So if its stronger why does it take 2 hits? The person who wrote it is obviously a troll or an idiot. Spoiler below!
