And what about localization support in theses versions ?

RE: Status Update: Linux and Mac ports - jens - 04-19-2007

Linux and Mac will come with English only, same as the current digital download version. The game is open for modification so it's possible for users to do translation like was done with the tech demo, if anyone up for it.

RE: Status Update: Linux and Mac ports - Thib_G - 04-19-2007

But the box edition comes with several languages... Can't we use it ( with no additionnal cost ) ?

RE: Status Update: Linux and Mac ports - Thomas - 04-19-2007

The translations in the boxed version are owned by the publisher(s) so I am afraid that we have no right to use them.

I stay tuned for further informations about the mac port.
Can we have a release date (or even a beta/tech demo for suscribers) ?
Is it the very end of the port ? Or are you just at an alpha stage ?

I am working on it..  Been spending every free moment tracking down this very, very, very, very annoying, and very severe Cg Bug. And I've been going nuts debugging it on a new Mac Pro.

Once I get this tracked down I will have a Universal build available.

We are working on getting the store setup to sell the linux & mac versions of the game and I am working on finalizing the builds for that.

It is coming, and I know it is hard to wait.  I've been on the waiting side before, actually I haven't even played through the first episode yet.. only as far as just past the content in the demo. (Those dogs are vicious).  But one thing for sure is that for episodes 2 and 3, all three platforms will be available at the same time.
