My top 10, in no particular order:
- Fallout 3 & Skyrim (I consider them the same game in a different theme)
- Populous the beginning & Age of empires (I'm not much for RTS but those were great)
- GTA series (each was great but only the newest one isn't obsolete now)
- Amnesia/Penumbra (great but too short, especially Amnesia)
- Simcity 4 Deluxe
I can't count to 10. I would add Machine for Pigs on the list but it has to get released first. The main thing I like in games is either horror or exploration with a good storyline.

It's not my best game ever (Planescape Torment is =P), but it's definitely one of the best horror games I've ever played. I think Penumbra: Black Plague, Silent Hill 2 and Saya No Uta are just as good, but I can't choose which I think is best. Scare wise? Amnesia, no contest XD

Amnesia is certainly one of my favourite games, and it's pretty much what introduced me to the wonderful world of horror games. I have yet to play or see a game that has scared me more than Amnesia has. There are some that have come close, but they still aren't as good.

Age doesn't necessarily represent how he's going to handle it. It's really up to you to decide whether you think he's mature enough or not.
That being said, at that age I could've handled it.

Depends on him actually. Age doesn't matter. All that matter is the immersion and him taking it seriously. I mean I'm 12 and I can still play Amnesia seriously.
Also, you might want to put Amnesia in the trash if your brother is having suicidal thoughts. The torture thingies in the game is really disturbing.

Three things I think that make an RPG a great game are:
Story
Gameplay
and puzzles.
I think ATTD is an amazing game. I do how ever think a lot of games being made today are dumbed down. With let complexity and focusing more on graphics. I do realize that companies only have so much time they can devote on certain element in order for the game to be released in a timely manor. With that said I would love to see the "The Legacy realm of Terror" re-released/sequel. That game was incredible. So complex immerse and great story. Something a lot of the new games are missing.
