Screenrecording with a mac - NeddieDavid - 02-06-2011 Hey, how do you record this game using a mac? I can't get my program to record the game. It appears as a tiny square, or just a black screen while playing. Or it crashes. Can you suggest anything? I've tried using screenflick and SnapzPro and iShowU. RE: Screenrecording with a mac - Urkle - 02-06-2011 I have used snapzpro to capture amnesia before. How much ram do you have on your computer? And which video card? So I've been playing around with iShowU and I can record the game if it's not in fullscreen. If it is, then the captured screen is just black. RE: Screenrecording with a mac - Urkle - 02-07-2011 I never tried capturing in full screen.. I only captured when running the game in a window.. that may be the issue Odds are when in full screen OS X is bypassing the compositing layer (which odds are the screen capture apps are relying on) in order to get an extra boost of speed. |
