What I would have changed.

Playing through it right now, it's quite entertaining, but I play on survivalist so I get what you mean with the constant body-stomping and such.

Not going to get it. Sort of enjoyed the first one but I finished it more through compulsion rather than pleasure. The first 10 minutes of the first one was amazing. Then I can't recall how many million bodystomps it took to finish.

I think it was so exciting and popular because it's a unique universe and lore i.e. zombies in space.

I have a tendency not to trust games with tidal waves of advertising and "we have multiplayer now! you love multiplayer don't you?"

Barf!

The body stomping is easily the worst part of Dead Space 2. By far.

They also had to spend a helluva lot more money to make that game! I still like Amnesia better, and whenever people ask me what I thought of Dead Space 2, it's always "good, but Amnesia's better," "what's Amnesia?" And there we go! Smile

Oh, Amnesia is without a doubt, one of the best games I've ever played. I love it!

I have completed Dead Space 2 for 360 also and I didn't find it scary at all, since I had just played Amnesia. I agree with OP; it was fun at times but you could feel the high production cost throughout. I just wish more people knew about Amnesia! Huh

HAHA. Me TOO!

Ended with the feeling of hopeful and Sad. Maybe it is time for Frictional to make a competing game. To make a, FEAR, Condemed, or Dead space, but better. Make one scarier, more immersive, and Fantastically beautiful. A game one step on the other side of Penumbra. Something like Cryostasis, but frictional style. cuz I felt like I was being dragged through the story in Cryostasis kind of like watching a movie. I never felt like I was being dragged anywhere in a frictional game; always a semi freedom to explore.

I'm still thinking if I should buy and play it. :l
