Overture: Bug trying to take chemical substance - joiells - 04-15-2011
Playing Penumbra Overture, I've recently arrived to a chemical laboratory, (just after the frozen lake) and every time I try to pick up any of the chemical substance there, the game crashes.
I have the steam version, I don't know if that cares.

Try to verify the cache in Steam, might be corrupt files.

It exactly says: "FATAL ERROR: Couldn't load image 'inventory_Chemical_A.bmp'! "
or inventory_Chemical_B.bmp depending on the one I try to pick up.

uninstall completely and install again might fix it, for some reason it sounds as if some files are missing.

Same problem after reinstalling... I don't know what it can be.
I'll try to play again with one of my older saves. I'm not very hopeful with that but someone told me if I play the game in a specific way, the problem may occur and if I do it in another way it may not.
It's a shame, because I was really enjoying such a good game and I wanted to play all the Penumbras in the right order.
