RE: Justine story - SamthePlayer - 04-14-2011

Yeah, I as well was sort of worried when I saw there was an expansion, but it was only available through Steam, since I usually avoid buying games online.

I hope they release it for people who bought the game normally as well, else it would be really unfair :/

Justine Story? - SidOreos - 04-14-2011

I just managed to beat Justine after dying about 10 times.
I saved the last two guys, so I think I got the best ending.
(Is it even possible to save the first one?)

I still don't completely understand the whole story, though.
Can anybody help me understand it better?

I'd love to if I could actually complete it for once. -_-

Keep trying!
It's pretty difficult, but totally worth it.
What part are you stuck at?

RE: Justine Story? - gandalf91 - 04-14-2011

Well, I only really lost from dying once...the first time I quit after about 20 minutes because it was way too noisy in my dorm and distracting me from the game. The second time I pulled one of the phonographs off the table and glitched the game (I think)... Tongue So it shut off. The third time I died from the first monster in the water dungeon, attempting to hide from it in the machine room.

Wow.
Maybe it just doesn't want you to play?

I'm not quite sure how to add the spoiler option yet, so I'll just leave an awful lot of space.

Spoiler incoming.

Spoiler alert.

Spoiler ho.

From what I could take from the writings and the ending, it was some bizarre form of incarceration for Justine for previous acts. I admittedly spent most of that time running from monsters to avoid losing the entire game instead of reading, so I didn't quite get it all. It's relatively short so I'll probably give it a go again sometime. Just need a breather...

Yup.
I'm pretty sure you're right.

Also, what was the ending like for you?
Did you save everybody?

RE: Justine Story? - DominusVita - 04-14-2011

For the sake of getting through as quickly as possible, I used the philosophy named by the first Metallica album:

Kill em all'. :-P

Argh...the tuba sounds... like a fart...!

RE: Justine story - Sessika - 04-14-2011

They will, they've said as much. Just steam gets it's first as it seems to be part of the Portal 2 promotion.
