Grid problems - SLAMnesia - 05-15-2011

Hey guys! I really don't remember how this happened but when I was making a level a while back, randomly the grid disappears. I tried fiddling with a bunch of options and it won't come back. And the grid DOES appear when I work on a different level, so I guess this level just doesn't like grids. I've also noticed that when I try to spawn objects they act as if there IS a grid there but you just can't see it (the objects align to a plane, but I just can't see the plane)
Please help!

RE: Grid problems - plutomaniac - 05-15-2011

Do you have the latest version if the HLP2 tools since Amnesia update to v1.0.1? What about trying to change it from Edit or pressing G on the keyboard?

RE: Grid problems - Simpanra - 05-15-2011

pressing g will bring back his grid =)

RE: Grid problems - plutomaniac - 05-15-2011

well, we are waiting for him to verify that...

RE: Grid problems - Simpanra - 05-15-2011

i can verify it already ^_^ just loaded up every one of the editors, all of them remove or add the grid when you press "g" ^_^

RE: Grid problems - MrBigzy - 05-15-2011

Just because g turns the grid off, doesn't mean its the only way to make it turn off. SIMPLE LOGIC MENG.

RE: Grid problems - Simpanra - 05-15-2011

i know xD but it IS a way of turning it ON again which is what he wants to do =)

RE: Grid problems - MrBigzy - 05-15-2011

What if the key changed from g to something else? Hmmmmmmm?

xDDDD then its an awkward bugger isn't it? =) I myself only know of the "g" hotkey, but to be honest i haven't encountered a menu in which you can change the hotkeys, so it would have to be a really awkward bugger in order to have changed ^_^
