A little combat helper! - Kumagoro - 04-03-2007 Oh, so go into your "My Documents" folder and tehre find "Penumbra Overture" and later "Episode 1" Open settings.cfg with notepad set SimpleWeaponSwing to "true" Since now, you swing your weapon by holding your mouse button, and make a stabbing motion by tapping it! Try it! RE: A little combat helper! - kjos - 04-03-2007 Thanks so much Kumagoro, works real good, Killed all the spiders and no damage to me. Thank you. Richard RE: A little combat helper! - DJ_Bite - 04-10-2007 Thank you very much! Although I liked the new style "real swinging" It was almost unusable when it came to really fast breaking down several objects one after another. RE: A little combat helper! - darthvulture - 04-14-2007 this really helped tnx man RE: A little combat helper! - Thaliur - 04-14-2007 Thanks for pointing that out I found another interesting option. If you set SimpleSwingInOptions to "true", you can change this setting anytime, using your in-game options RE: A little combat helper! - WindexGlow - 04-14-2007 You devolopers left too many *possible* beta helpers ingame. (As in things that made beta testing alot faster) RE: A little combat helper! - schreinon - 02-17-2008 Can these suggestions be used for Macintoshes? I can't find anything in my Documents Folder relating to Penumbra Overture? Can you give me a little more details, please? I'm not coordinated AND less than a com0puter wiz ... but LOVE the game. (Thanks in advance for any help you can render this poor old grandma ;o) RE: A little combat helper! - mrk - 04-28-2008 schreinon Wrote:Can these suggestions be used for Macintoshes? Just use TextEdit to open the file. |
