[6/21/11]

- Added new screenshots: Laboratory
- Screenshot library has reached ~40 images. Take a gander!
- Second trailer is being cancelled. Work must resume on the actual story!
- Still seeking people to join team/contribute. See below.
- Release date set for the end of summer. Best guess is mid- to late-August.


[6/24/11]

- First chapter of OLitD will contain 12 maps. No estimate on playtime available at this point
- Chances of an expansion/2nd chapter depend heavily on chapter one's success
- Still aiming for an end-of-summer release date.
- Seeking curious and observant QA testers. PM for details.


[8/1/11]

- OLitD full release contains 8 maps, and will be available for play on August 5th.
- QA team hard at work cleaning up the mod for release.


[8/6/11]

- Uploaded patch 1: added a few missing welders whose absence was allowing for some....creative bugging. Courtesy of the ever-curious Forsakengamer.

- Uploaded patch 2: toned down the evasiveness of a certain key....
- Updated the how-to section, reminding you to download the patches when you first install OLitD!

HOW TO INSTALL OLITD

Spoiler below!

OLitD is a full conversion mod - it does NOT go into your custom_stories folder. It must have its files merged with the folders in your Amnesia root.

If this is your first installation of OLitD, DO NOT OVERWRITE ANY FILES. I have organized my custom assets into separate folders marked OLD_ or olitd_. This makes for an straightforward un-installation process, and avoids any conflicts with other assets from conversion mods or custom stories.

Future releases of OLitD (bug fixes, patches, etc) will ONLY contain the updated map and script files. You WILL have to overwrite the old maps, but you can always choose to delete the outdated map pack and install the new one, just to make sure you aren't overwriting anything.

FULL CONVERSION INSTALLATION (first release):

1) Download the file from any of the available links
2) Extract the contents of it directly in to your Amnesia: TDD root - NOT into your custom_stories folder
3) You will be asked to merge the folders. Click 'Yes'.
4) First installation should NOT require overwriting. If it asks for it, say NO
5) Once extracted, you can create a shortcut to the olitd.bat file for easier access.
5.5) Download the most recent patch and install it accordingly.
6) Launch the game by opening the olitd.bat file.
7) Make sure your graphics settings are right (they will likely be set to default)
8) Once in-game, set all of your keybinds to what you want, they will have been reset.
9) Enjoy!


CUSTOM STORY INSTALLATION

NOTE: The custom story format is NOT ideal - I have edited many features of the game, and you will not get the optimal experience using a custom story format. This is only for people who experience issues with the full conversion format.

1) Extract the contents of the download pack to your Amnesia root.
2) Merge the folders when you are asked to by clicking 'Yes'. Do NOT overwrite any files if this is your FIRST installation.
2.5) Download the most recent patch and install it accordingly.
3) Launch the story via the custom story menu in Amnesia: TDD.
4) Enjoy!



MAP PATCHES

1) OPTIONAL: Delete the old maps/script files.
2) Extract the map pack folder to maps/olitd/.
3) You will be asked to merge the folders. Click 'Yes'.
4) If you did step 1, you will not need to overwrite anything. If you didn't do step 1, you will need to overwrite all of the outdated files. Click 'Yes' to overwrite.
5) Launch the olitd.bat file and enjoy!

Yeah I've tried that but it wasn't workin' for me. Maybe I'll shoot Russ Money a tell and ask for his help Smile I know he made a successful full conversion.

I actually got one working, but I couldn't exactly customize the pre menu the way I wanted. :/
