Alright then, it doesn't matter. Leave the feet like they are. It is a lowepoly model for a mod actually so, no worries for such details. With the face thing, I was kind of asking, if I want to add some kind of face(not an actual one), how can I do that? By the spec?

RE: Hermoor's monsters - Hermoor - 08-16-2011

It's going to be hard to add a face at this point since the darkness under his hair is just a plane. Maybe it would be possible to add some kind of weak hint of a face. Either using spec like you said or just drawing on top of the diffuse. I recon it won't look very good though. But you could try.

About more models, anyone who want to make a happy mod? Like with fairies and little trolls or something. i would love to make some less scary looking models for a change xD

Ok guys I want another request. Smile Smile

RE: Hermoor's monsters - NyteMyre - 08-16-2011

my request is to put the screenshots in spoiler tags.....

But i love to see them in working custom stories

-edit-

Oh and for suggestions: GHOSTS!!
Not the white ones, but black shadow-ghosts.

In Amnesia, i was really disappointed that "the shadow" was just the red stuff.
I expected more something like this: (linked because of size)

http://www.scenicreflections.com/files/Ghost_Shadow_Wallpaper_wivlf.jpg

So features:
- Hard to see, black shadow ghost/monster
- Maybe even transparent
- Smoke particles?
- Low damage (to compensate for hard to see ^^ )

or something like the shadow people in Metro 2033

or nightmare house2 shadow people

Well, it's just a first version and it's pretty simplistic.

(I only have this very horrid picture of the design right now, so this is a place holder until I can access my scanner.)

Just a black silhouette like in the videos?

A female mummy? Or someone who has suffered from fire and has bandages all over the body. Both would probably make sense in the amnesia universe. But the second one would probably look scarier.

Either way the skin would be rough and leathery, just in the latter case there would be blisters and more exposed flesh. Heck, even with those additions the design could probably function as either, though most burn victims would have far less hair left.
