It's nice to see a good, unique movie win this award, as opposed to something stupid like the Justin Beiber movie or any of the other shitty movies that the originality lacking Hollywood has put forth over the past 10 years.

Donnie Darko and Scott Pilgrim are indeed great movies. Can say I care for the others. Also, precedent: The Mario Brothers Movie? Maybe on the back of the DVD cover, but no further.
