I have never played Penumbra so i do don't know

If I can remember correctly, it only appeared in tech demo... It wasn't included in any of official penumbra games...

This guy never were in any of the penumbra games, neither the tech demo. They started working on him, but when one of the members of frictional games left they stopped working on him I THINK XD

It's in Tech Demo v1.0, not present in any of the Penumbra games nor Tech Demo v1.1

This is The Hunter.
It was developed to be released with the Technology Demonstration of HPL engine.
However, the guy who worked with The Hunter, left the team before he got it finished and therefore, Frictional Games never included it into any of the games.
Since it's files are still located with the Tech Demo of Penumbra, The Hunter can be viewed in the model viewer and CAN be added to the game itself, but since it doesn't have animations of any sort, it doesn't do anything.

You can actually import animations from other entities I believe, but the end result is rather crude...

Correction...after a minute of thought I realized what was done was a replacement of the infected model with the model for the hunter...all other files in the folder still represent the infected as appears in the game. Only the model was replaced in other words.

Yes. That's possible but as you said, and as the video shows, it looks weird.
