KPB-ENGINE - nemesis567 - 06-14-2011 What's that engine. Never heard of it. Anyone used it or knows it? Is it good? RE: KPB-ENGINE - Sexbad - 06-14-2011 um, you probably know more about it than any of us do A Google search of "kpb engine" yields this thread as the first result, and a broken Japanese website as the second. RE: KPB-ENGINE - eliasfrost - 06-15-2011 I think KPB Engine was the engine that Unbirth used, no? RE: KPB-ENGINE - nemesis567 - 06-15-2011 What's Unbirth? RE: KPB-ENGINE - TFEF - 06-15-2011 It's a game that Thomas and friends worked on before Penumbra. You can find a download link somewhere, but the game itself is pretty... broken, for lack of a better word. RE: KPB-ENGINE - nemesis567 - 06-15-2011 already found it. I remember someone making a thread about. I even tried to play it. I said well, "tried". RE: KPB-ENGINE - GraphicsKid - 06-15-2011 In Soviet Russia, KPG engine hears YOU! RE: KPB-ENGINE - plutomaniac - 06-15-2011 This is the official site of the former KPB Engine. Nowadays, it is not an engine anymore but as far as I know for architects and stuff like that: http://www.kpb.com/ A very early version of KPB Engine was used for creating an old abandoned game called Unbirth, made almost entirely from Tomas Grip. The game was going to be free but Thomas abandoned it due to technical problems mainly. It's spirit lives in Penumbra games and especially at the 2006 Tech Demo. The new main site for Unbirth is this: http://unbirth.frictionalgames.com/ |
