yes I know that. I have "converted" some things from Penumbra to Amnesia. My question is, what do I have to do with these though if I don't have the dae. Should I convert the model to collada and put these in the same folder with it and try it? With blender, right?

oh sorry i thought you already converted it to .dae Wink yes whith blender you can dowloadn a plugin, OPENCollade. try to export whith that plugin Smile

blender cannot open the retro tv .obj file for some reason. It says unknown file type.

EDIT: I managed to import it but this how it looks like:

EDIT 2: I imported it correctly now and I can see the tv now without the textures of course. I cannot export it to collada 1.4 though. Blender freezes everytime I try to do that.

you should see the texture correctly in blender if you want it to work Tongue try to import whith .obj importer.
This is why i cant test it, the texture doesn't show. And i can't add it like the did it on the picture :S

maybe I should import and export it with another program like Maya or Max?

i have Max, but it give an error :S so the texture isn't added to the model. When i want to add it manually, the texture looks differents than on the picture. I don't think there is an easy fix for this Tongue

that's why it is not possible to do anything with these models sadly. Anyway, thank you nkmol for everything but I don't think we will find a solution here...

actually I am not looking for a retro tv. I'm just looking for a television and preferably a CRT one for Unbirth Mod. The Retro TV was the "easiest" to convert I think, that's why we started working on that. If I find a tv in .dae how am I going to make the textures work? For example(the only .dae ready TV I have found):
