Yes, the game is very short. Probably that's a marketing ploy, making short, great episodes (with few answers or with no continuity if you play just one episode) creates a fanbase that will buy the next game. In my oppinion I think Penumbra could be one long game.

It *could* be one long game released in three years... way after the fanbase created by the tech-demo dissipates or installments now so we will buy it and stay active on the forums.

I don't agree with one big game.
'Cause then they have same things in whole game and it would be very hard to put something into full game.
So when they do it in three parts, it's much more easier to put new monsters equips and stuff like that into game.
And of course, our ideas...
