Facts from Amnesia - Hardarm - 06-29-2011

I was thinking to open a thread where anyone can write one or some FACTS from Amnesia:

Like:

- In Amnesia spiders weren't used but there is one in the data folder
- Amnesia is scary
- Amnesia was made in 2010
- Inside storage you can meet * monsters (I dont know the exact number) Tongue

Just for fun ^^
Let's make them in order of numbers, Let's see which number we can reach! Smile

I'll start with two:

1. Amnesia doesn't contain lots of blood.
2. Amnesia was made from Frictional Games.

-In the Choir, the Level Editor shows seven Brutes. However, the script file has the seventh Brute spawn information as comments.

-Jens must get bored when writing script or something, because there are several script files with some pretty funny comments. For example, look at line 812 of 15_prison_north.hps.

-In the southern block of the Prison, the Brute that throws the man against the door is called "im_in_a_bad_mood" in the Level Editor.

It's funny because these are actually true xd.

ALSO

In Amnesia you can be god by messing with the game.cfg file.

Also, in Amnesia almost everytime you pick up something useful a monster spawns.

Incorrect, at the spiral staircase leading to Agrippa's room, depending on sanity you see giant spiders on the walls and beams and central pillar.



Fact: during the opening sequence scripts, the game is fully interactable - you can open doors, light candles, and pull off the head of the Suit of Armor.


Fun Fact: It's not a moose. (obscure reference!)
