Clean up your posts next time. -Scraper RE: So... who listens to death/black/trash/viking/etc. metal - Wooderson - 12-21-2011 I love how you try to judge music when you can't even appreciate a very popular form of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQgMVd8tCSY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FXJItBMhGo I know these song don't include metal, but it shows that you can have rap and metal mixed. Here is a better example - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWXazVhlyxQ&ob=av2n I know this isn't death metal or anything, but I believe this is on topic enough? Better to hear nothing than this. "This isn't music for me." You said it already, you are as repetitive as you non-music "songs". I must get money to listen a full song, because it's stress.I prefer good comp, heavy sounding (but still melodic) guitars and growling, rather than little girl repeating the same words all the time while the computer makes handicapped comp/voice. It need's a lot of talent to growl or play death metal songs with guitar. And if you do have ears, you can hear the comp of drums, and the melody of guitars. The growling needs to be done with midriff, not throat. I can, but can you? RE: So... who listens to death/black/trash/viking/etc. metal - Wooderson - 12-21-2011 I have to agree, it is incredibly hard to scream/growl consistently without doing great damage to your voice. I believe that Matt Tuck even lost his voice for quite a while because of it, and he didn't even scream that much either. One is also "Biohazard" RE: So... who listens to death/black/trash/viking/etc. metal - Wooderson - 12-22-2011 Yeah I gathered that you liked the heavier side of metal, whereas I prefer the lighter side in most cases. The heaviest I can stretch for is Bring Me the Horizon and Asking Alexandria. I might grow to like even heavier forms of metal though as thats how I grew to like it in the first place. Start off light and then work your way to something a little heavier if you know what I mean. RE: So... who listens to death/black/trash/viking/etc. metal - Googolplex - 12-22-2011 The only music with kind of rock I like is this here from Nightwish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbv0tmshWI4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XopsFtdaLw&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9Fyib7NZ8w&feature=related (original version) This is really epic and you can call it music. I don't like the rock parts in the first video, but the singer has a very beautyful voice! Oh, I noticed it's from a finnish metal band. RE: So... who listens to death/black/trash/viking/etc. metal - Wooderson - 12-22-2011 Nightwish are a good band with some variety... Now for the question! Anette or Tarja? Personally I prefer Anette |
