Amnesia, Can't stop walking! (Problem fixed :D) - Cassidykento - 07-12-2011
I purchased this game a few days ago, and haven't played it but for a few minutes. Mainly 'cause every time I start up the game and begin to play, my player(Daniel) begins to walk forward without command. Only way to get him to stop is to turn and just run into a wall, lul. I exited out, then tried again and yet it persisted. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem.. Or if maybe it has something to do with my computer. So, I know I can't really continue the game till I get this fixed, or else I may run head on into a monster out of my own will. Gah. XD
Any advice would be appreciated. <3

1) Attach us here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.
2) What graphics card do you have?
3) Have you updated the game to v1.2?
4) What operating system do you have (also x86 or x64)?
5) Is it a laptop or desktop?

2> When i went to Device Manager>Display Adapters it says, "AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250. If that helps you any?

1,2) By attaching here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder I can check these from there
4) What operating system? For example Windows 7 x64 (64-bit) or Windows XP x86 (32-bit)

I'm guessing the following. If not the case, tell me to change the link: desktop, windows 7 x64. Make sure you have this installed:

Catalyst Software Suite is just fine. The other thing is profiles, leave it.

restart and try the game again. It should work afterwards...
