I don't know if this is the right place for this but... - Hunter of Shadows - 08-11-2011 I'd made a mod for Heroes of Newerth before, where it changed one of the characters soundset to Mr. Tall, I did one for Mr. Face as well, and I was asked how difficult it would be to port an Amnesia model over to this game Thread So I was going to ask, because when you go into the entities folder inside redist, you'll find that the brute and grunt files are all split up, the mesh/animations are not compacted into the model itself. I think I'm rambling but whatever, my point is, how difficult would it be to port one of amnesia's models? RE: I don't know if this is the right place for this but... - Acies - 08-11-2011 I have zero experience in this, but I'm guessing you won't find an exact answer. Perhaps this thread on the hon forums could be helpful: http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=112409 It lead me to this thread: http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=238517 Which appears to be an exporter for 3ds max. I think you should be able to import the amnesia models to 3ds max & export them to Hon. Not sure about it though. Whether Frictional games wants their models used in another game or not is something I can't answer. |
