Story doesn't have anything to do with original amnesia story. Only element is that Alexander gave that man some of the potions what turned men into grunt and there is nothing more about original story.

Beta is only smart part of story. The point of this beta is giving you overview what happened in Louis life, how his life crumbled and why he ended in that place. The game name is amnesia, so we use amnesia as well, so player starts studying what has happened to him. Since he took potion, before he was pretty okay, but after that he starts seeing this, as his body refuses amnesia and starts slowly giving memories back to his mind. I can't comment much of the story, it is in full release. But it will obviously expand.

Yes, I know that you couldn't gather water directly into jar. There is explanation for that but sadly I didnt make it clear. I will try to do that in beta 1.3. When you use jar on the the pump, you will get message (in 1.3) "Pump flow is too strong and you do not want risk to lose jar" or something, to make it clear that you cant use jar on pump. I will also move key to little bit more discoverable place. Jar of Fire - when you use it on pit, it will give message "It's too little amount, I need to get it bigger!" or something to make player aware that he needs to put jar inside bigger amount of water.

Thankly I already made clear that part that when you use rusty knife on Orb you get message that knife is not sharp, etc. Some smaller stuff Smile.

I can't comment about mapping. I do not map neither I do not want. Arvuti will deal with that, thanks!

Sadly yeah, all the scares won't scare everyone. But again when it doesn't scare you it scares others ;P. Ray of Light isn't dedicated for scariness, more for story. Scariness comes to player who are scared. Obviously there are also people who aren't scared and I can't do much about it Tongue.

I can't tell in note everything in detail. Else it wouldn't be puzzle =).

I dont think "Lisanburg" was in original amnesia story? We thought it out ourselves. But obviously we aren't trying to compete against them =). We just included small their story characters into our story and right now it is only Alexander.

Or you are too slow. It is on purpose. When you blow up something, obviously they take fast action as well. They know your location, so only way is turn around and find closet behind you. It even said "find closet" I think. =)

We just released a new version of our beta to the public. The beta fixes quite a few bugs and also improves some visual quality.

*Added an error message when you try to get jar filled via pump!
*Added an error message when you are trying to use mixed jar with hole
*Changed Grunt spawn timer from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.
*Added context to note, what water is needed for !
*After explosion, if you die second time, third time grunts won't appear.
*Disabled police knocker, because it was originally not intended to be there with that alpha voice!
*Fixed a small bug in credits.
*Added loading screen pictures
*Reduced shake from 0.4 to 0.3
*Second dream final door should open always correctly.
*Fixed spelling errors
*Changed the credits song

Visual updates
*Changed key location from rock to another place!
*Fixed several map errors
*Added several new visual details

Strange, at the picture I can see version 1.8 but at the link version 1.3. Also at ModDB v1.2 - probably not authorized yet I guess.

Thanks, and the program is Adobe Photoshop. ( I use CS3, doesn't matter though )
