Well, if you still follow the arguments, Maya is better for animation, Max is better for modelling, but again it's irrelevant, they both have the same tools to do the same job, what does it matter?

As I've stated, the necessary files are in the right location, all of the textures (which are .dds), the .mat, .ent, .msh etc...

Alright well, I have already done that, but maybe I need to use a different material type?
Right now I have it set as a direct x shader with a standard FX, if I'm supposed to be using something else ... |

Yea I can't really make out much, it's very dark, which I guess would be a success considering it's supposed to be a dark room. XD
But yea, I can't really comment until I can see a clearer picture.

Scratch that, I just grabbed blender and tried that, it's even worse, the mesh just gets jumbled up and it's still invisible in the same places described above.

Couple of other things, don't forget that even though buildings are man made, they are still very much organic.
What I mean by that is; creatures live in homes, rats, spiders, moths, flies, creatures... |
