Sounds like you reversed the shadow-shading script to make them lighter instead of darker. I don't think this is the way to go.

Your mod isn't a Custom Story anymore. Take into consideration that changing SanityGain_Color makes your mod a Full Conversion, which is handled quite differently |

Amnesia is made using OpenGL which apparently causes some problems for some Fraps settings (no idea about the other one though). I'd suggest looking into solving Fraps-OpenGL problems.
