| To start a game with the mode, click on "New Game" - it should give you an option to toggle between Safe and Normal. Turning Safe Mode on won't work in the middle of the game. |

| Yeah, usually these things get fixed by loading an earlier save. Just in case you might want to try loading from a previous location. It's annoying to replay it, but might fix the issue.
