RE: [www.nextfrictionalgame.com] Amnesia Discussion

This is just simply fantastic and exciting news.

Basically, I adore Frictional Games. They are gods in my eyes. They really are up there with the likes of Bethesda, Valve, and Wayforward; when these developers have an announcement, it's an instant-buy/pre-order because you know the quality will be there.

All the fuss over Resident Evil 6 recently made me yearn even more for the next FG game, because I know that, even as a long-term Resi fan, FG's work is above and beyond anything in that series.

And here it is: something new would be nice but if it is in anyway related to Amnesia, the only horror experience in my lifetime that has made me sweat in fear, then I'm not going to complain.

The setting of in/around China is a fascinating one for me because, let's face it, it's a region with a lot of land mass that doesn't exactly present itself as somewhere pleasurable to visit.

It's a brand new Amnesia expansion.

This is the clear image xD

http://www.nextfrictionalgame.com/ shows tease_image_2.jpg now.

http://www.nextfrictionalgame.com/aamfp/ <-- Path to tease_image_2.jpg, what does aamfp stand for? (And was it the same location for the first picture?)

Interesting stuff, but it could be just me spouting random nonsense.

China was the country linked to before the picture became more clearer. Now the picture is slightly clearer but links to Boreray.

Maybe those coordinates are part of the pinpoint system.

Basically three sets of coordinates could point out the target.

RE: [www.nextfrictionalgame.com] Amnesia Discussion

Having it become the next Amnesia DLC sounds like the most resonable thing. HOWEVER, why would it be featured on NextFrictionalGame.com? That doesn't make sense, a DLC can't in any way be called a standalone game.

A second amnesia game on an improved engine would be brilliant, doesn't need to be connect to Daniel, the orb or anything from the previous game. The title Amnesia, means memory loss. So aslong as the game would stick to that concept, then it'd make sense to call it Amnesia.
You go Frictional! I approve.

New, interesting findings!

Frictional Games sharpened the tease-image. But I still can't identify what it could be. Perhaps a mine?

And now, the way doesn't lead to China, now it's a small isle "Boreray".

A puzzle!
