Is the collaboration with TCR good or bad?
Is the collaboration with TCR good or bad? I've played one of their games but I am not sure if this is good or not...

RE: Is the collaboration with TCR good or bad?
Dear Esther was incredible. I know alot of people who hated it because its not a "game". But they just do not understand the art of games. A game do not need to be fun/cool/good. What a game needs is to give the player an experience, and this is what Dear Esther does. So does Amnesia so i think it will end up great!

Good. Dear Esther was great. It was an experiment in evoking emotion without relying on heavy stimulation. Now they're going to use what they learned to make a more interactive game.
Also, as far as horror goes. Korsakovia was flat out terrifying and even Dear Esther had some subtle eeriness to it. With the ghosts and surrealism. Very atmospheric, both of them.

The outdoor/cave artwork from Dear Esther was incredible, as was the indoor design for Amnesia:TDD. Although AMFP is still going to be on the HPL2 engine, I am ecstatic to see what is possible with this engine when two of the best Indie groups work together for a single game!
Also, I can't wait to see all of the new models and building sets that we can use for the Level Editor ^.^
I rate it 3 memes.

From what we saw in the teaser, I'd say good thing. It looks absolutely amazing. Although I've never played Dear Esther (The mod version doesn't work, and I'm too cheap to buy it :3), I really am looking forward to this.
Korsakovia, I got started on, but never finished because none of it made sense to me :|

Why is this even still up for debate?
Of course it is.

I think it's good. They did a great job making a good atmosphere to the outdoor environments and I'm sure the same will be done the new Amnesia title. Plus it given FG time to work on the new engine and new title.

Good.
At first I was afraid it meant AMFP would be too unlike TDD, but then I thought FG wouldn't have asked TCR to do this game if they weren't sure they are able to make a good Amnesia game.
And now that I have seen the teaser, I am sure AMFP will be great!
