Hello guys, well I've downloaded amnesia from frictional games and already completed the game. The problem is that when I try to Install custom stories they won't appear on my custom story list ingame. I tried to extract them directly to the custom story folder and also extracting them on my desktop and then copying it into the custom story folder. Can somebody help me?

but instead of install it to steam you open your Amensia root folder and put the folder inside the Custom Story folder

I already knoew how to install it. The problem is that it dosent show up on the custom story list in-game

It should do if you installed it correctly and if the custom story is correctly set up. What CS did you download?

I downloaded Grunt's castle and it didn't work. I thought it must be a problem with that cs but then i tried to install house of creep 2 and it didnt work either. Thank you for your colaboration

Since they aren't FC's you should just put the folder the files are in inside the custom story folder. Check so you have a folder with Custom_story_settings and extra_english files and a folder called map or maps. All that should be placed in a folder so it's not first 1 folder to get to the folder with the files in. and then place that inside the folder Custom_Stories

Well that's good, don't play those, they are terrible stories.
Go check some serious stories. And don't put in the .zip or .rar in it, put the folder that you find the first with it.

You can do it without extracting, if I'm right extracting makes a second folder. Just open the *.zip/*.rar file and drag the folder into custom_stories

I checked and everything is normal.

I tried that as well but it makes no difference

Where are you excatly putting it, the installation folder or the Documents?

I put it inside My pc\C_disk\Games\Amnesia_the_dark_crescent\redist\custom stories
