I talked with teammates and we came up with a nice alternative. No need to reply to this anymore. =\ Thanks anyways.

Why would you suffer from that? There's a reason why soliddiffuse lets you choose Alpha. Use it.

Nooooooooooooooooooooope, alpha channel will produce the same results.

T's the problem with being an artist working with HPL, we can't make new materials.

No matter what you do the background faces will show up through the front ones, when the background and foreground ones overlap they become alike an overlay layer in photoshop. There's no avoiding this without custom shaders.

I shall brashly and brazenly and unabashedly and unashamedly thread-bomb where I see fit!

...but yeah I suppose me and my ilk don't quite belong here.

The problem with that is that Soliddiffuse only allows for solid textures, or no texture at all. With soliddiffuse, there is no in-between. I want the model slightly translucent, not solid or missing. I tried AlphaDissolveFilter and I can see through the holes, as well, The textures in front show up without flickering faces behind them.. The issue with this is that the model is not partially translucent. Close, but no cigar. I know how the materials work. I'm not that stupid.

Then for translucent, you're probably going to need to get used to cubemap alpha.

Didn't see your message until after we found a solution. Thanks for the help though. I'm glad to see SOMEONE tried to help. I generally don't get much feedback when I ask "different" questions than are usually asked around here...
