Especially when they see an enemy and they start screaming "NONONONONONONONONONONONO" over and over again and I have to go out to silence him. In fact, he has an account registered on this forum (Saint Archer) and talks about Amnesia and the such and the farthest he's gone is the Entrance Hall. He was too scared from that point on and he won't play it again. That's why I'm so frustrated about it.

Well I have an older brother so all I have to really worry about is him blasting Odd Future from his room, since the wall in-between our rooms barely cancels out any sound.

It helps if you're listening to music you like through headphones, because headphones are right next to your ears and it basically cancels out all other sounds. I'm listening to Robots FTW from Portal 2 right now, and I can't even hear myself typing or clicking. When I pause it, however, you hear a lot more. Listening to music you like is a way to keep concentration. This might be only me, but when I was making my first custom story, I listened to the ambience I was putting into that story on loop so I could design it to match the feel of the ambience that was playing.

cmon why that racism with consoles,everyone knows that exists at least 3 horror games for xbox360/ps3 that is better that amnesia... im not going to say to not start a...(supposed to be a meme here)

As far as I know, the first three Silent Hill games are the only horror games that can even compare with the epicness of Amnesia.

As far as I know, the first three Silent Hill games are the only horror games that can even compare with the epicness of Amnesia.

dead space and alan wake are 2 awesome horror games too =D
