Well the state of atoms isn't random, no random at all. It's just based on the chaos theory which says chaotic systems who are based on simple mathematical rules can have outcomes that are entirely unpredictible (they can be described by mathematics, but they can't be predicted through mathematics). That's how our weather system works. You cannot predict the weather after 1 month for example can you? If we didn't exist will the atoms stop reacting mathematically? I don't think so. Mathematics is woven to the most basic laws of physics.

Mathematics are the way we understand the laws of physics. Without them even if whatever happens has meaning we couldn't understand it at all. H20 wouldn't be called H20. It would just be a bunch of atoms grouping together.

Mathematics are our understanding of physics, and not the exact same thing. It's just a system we use to understand/translate it.
