Yay for terrible quality \o/
Couldn't find a digital copy, so I just ended up taking a picture of it with my webcam. Apparently the contests' name was "Blaze of the Battle", nifty.

I might remember seeing that.
Or my brain is playing tricks on me. It's been a while.

RE: Lego Bionicle(Nostalgia within!)
Another fun fact: Anyone remember I said "Kreekakon" was a name for a comic book character I created? The comic series is actually very heavily Bionicle inspired, even including a few of the canon characters like Makuta, and Nidhiki. The name itself also draws inspiration from the name "Krekka", another canon character in Bionicle.
So, no Bionicle, no amazing username for me.

RE: Lego Bionicle(Nostalgia within!)
I wanted to get Krekka, but my mom was mean to me.
Not really, I just didn't have my own credit card back then.
Also, this is where you can brag about your Bionicle Collectibles, so feel free.
Did anyone get the Mask of Shadows, for instance? I didn't, but I got the mask of light and it's glittery companion, so I guess that year was still a win for me.
That movie mask though... someone out-sniped me on Ebay, so I don't think I will ever get one of those.

I thought Takanuva came with both the glittery Mask of Light, and normal one by default? I got them both from the same set.

They did, I was just being inclusive.
Does anyone have a rahi set? I didn't get it when they were on store shelves, but I recently acquired Muaka and Kane-ra. I want to get Tarakava and the flying ones when I get into some money. I'm not too sure about the Manas, though they are remote controlled(cool) I think a new set costs several hundred. Bionicles sure got expensive.
Yes, I'm a grown man who is still into Legos. I guess that's obvious at this point, though. XD

RE: Lego Bionicle(Nostalgia within!)
I remember I collected a lot of the titans, such as Makuta, Nidhiki, Sidorak, Roodaka, and Keetongu. Sadly enough though, I was stupid as a kid and would always get bored with the finished product and construct my own guys. I really wish I never took apart Nidhiki, he was so cool.

I have Nui-Jaga. They were my first Bionicle set ever lol
Also, I love how the word "Rahi" was drawn an equal symbol to "Bad guy's minions" in 2001 when they're actually just animals...something that was only expanded on after 2001 had ended.

I thought it was made pretty clear that they were brainwashed.

This. I got pretty creative with some of the pieces(I constructed a toa without using the base torso piece. It fit together quite nicely and had full articulation. Oh, and it had wings.)
But yeah, I lost a lot of important pieces that some of my sets couldn't work without.(Two of my bohrok sets, and Sidorak) I barely was able to reconstruct my exo toa.

It was... a complicated feeling I had, and I don't really think I can spell it out with text.
