Crescent Village... That name has been ringing in my ears, haunting me in my dreams. It's where I grew up as a child, but I was sent away to live with my aunt and uncle when I was very young. I never saw my family again.
Why is this happening now, 30 years later? It seems to be calling out to me, beckoning me to return. That's why I must go. I need to find out why I'm being haunted by these nightmares, and maybe seeing my family again will help... Something seems off about it though. All of my instincts are telling me to stay away from there and forget about the whole thing. I can't just shake it off though... I NEED to do this.
Story: Upon returning to the village you grew up in as a child, you discover that it's empty. Doors are boarded up, bloodstains soak the ground, and a strange aura lingers in the air. What happened and why has everyone disappeared? Crescent Village holds a secret, and it's up to you to uncover it.
Features:
- Chilling atmosphere
- Frightening horror
- Complex and deep storyline
- Richly detailed environments and lighting
- Quality voice acting
- Original music composed by TGST
- Custom Monsters
Info: Obscurity is a project I've been working on relentlessly for about a year now, and I'm proud to finally release it! As you can probably tell, this is a serious custom story. You will not find pointless jumpscares, all of the horror will make sense and deliver a quality horror experience. (Note, there are a couple of jumpscares but they MAKE SENSE.) To add to this, none of the monsters in Obscurity are from the original Amnesia or Justine, all of them are custom. You won't see these monsters in any screenshots, as I intend to keep their identities a surprise. (Please note that I didn't make these monsters, but they are from various resources that are credited at the end of the game.)
There are lots of notes and diary entries hidden throughout the game; to understand the story I advise you to read them.
Anyways, feel free to make playthroughs/walkthroughs of Obscurity, just make sure to put a link to this page in the description of your video.
Enjoy!

However, I felt the random jumpscare after closet opened ruined all you'd built up. It just caused me to sigh and wonder what sense it made.
Good work so far though.

Well the one with the closet did actually make sense. A note was just found about how the innkeeper was captured, and then Simon has a quick vision of his body. I guess it was a bit cheap, but I felt it was appropriate as it's practically the only jumpscare in the entire game.
Thanks!
