reaction after playing amnesia and how to overcome it

Hey guys!

Just so you know this is mostly my reactions after playing amnesia :

Too afraid to pee in the toilet alone at night
Trauma after saw some monsters and corpses
Can't focus at something
Can't go in a dark place or room
Can't sleep ( mostly )

Now this how I overcome it :

Watch some cartoons to get over it
Edit the monsters with silly things

Or

Never play it again ( permanently )

How about you guys?

I was scared out of my senses, but enjoyed it so much that I had to go again right away.

Having finished the game with headphones, and the lights out, I feel like I've earned the right to play it with the lights on from here on out.

...and it still scares the crap out of me.

Dude like the most craziest reaction I had was when the monsters came out of nowhere and attack you

I just paused the game
Slam the table
Running and shouting swears

I was really scared and stressable before playing this game. Amnesia made me lose my fear of the dark! So, it help me in that way XD!!!

Eh... psychological games always have some sort of mental impact on us. Amnesia was one of them. It gave me one or two nightmares about it.

As soon as i started developing it, it became much easier to handle Wink

When you know what is gonna happen when and where, it isn't really scary.

When I first played it, I couldn't do it and i fear quit many times. Even though the light was on and my brother was right beside me. But eventually I got used to it and wasn't so scared anymore, and I think after I played it I lost fear of a lot of things like the dark, like Zombif. But I did notice that all games kind of scare me now, because I'm expecting something a lot more scary than what will actually happen.

This game left me with a mental impact, such as;
Gives me Nyctophobia (fear of the darkness)
Never go in the darkness
Always turn on the light
Makes me hear weird noises such as, doors opening, floors creaking.
Amnesia left me a big mental impact. This is why i rated this game as 2000/100 in my mind.
How i overcome it:
Never play that game again, only work on custom stories, and spend much time on youtube searching for funny videos.
