So BMTH's new album actually doesn't suck. That's a surprise.
Wait wat?
Well their first two albums were pure chugga chugga BR00TAL breakdown core and were p damn bad. Then on the one before this one was an improvement, they cut back on the constant mindless chugging and breakdown overload, but it was still just a decent metalcore album. But this one is honestly a huge improvement, it barely relies on chugging and breakdowns at all and a lot of the song writing is actually really creative. I'm honestly surprised how fast they improved, not many bands can do that.
That video link doesn't work for me so I had to go listen to this....
Its same old BMTH signature style, but a little more friendly on the vocals... In the past they were sometimes hard to distinguish.
Apparently this song was mean't to be a parody of metal lyrics... I hope so because they really sound like it.
Overall I wouldn't choose to listen to stuff like the song below, I don't mind it in the background but not worth my attention... Their last album which got slated by their old fans and just metalcore haters in general had some better songs than this IMO. Obviously thats just from one song though...
...Actually you literally just picked the one song off the album that's getting the most shit for rehashing their older shitty style, lol. You should look up the song Shadow Moses if you get a chance, it's a much better example of what I was talking about. They could start putting out some solid releases if they continue down this path.
