What might help in this process would be for people who want to contribute to use the export selection and import objects feature of the Level Editor. Create what you want before you get to edit and when you do get to edit, just paste it in there and tweak it to make it fit.

That is what I'm going to do.

That's an awesome Idea Khyrpa! But I guess it depends if they want to do it, or wanna see what the person beforehand has created Tongue

Isn't that a bit cheaty? I thought the point was to see what people can do in the 8 hour time constraint.

Streetboat does have a point. Best to wait your turn I guess.

Isn't it better to wait and see also! Haha

I'm not going to use all of my 8 hours Smile
Here is my contribution.
This file contains a whole custom story folder with all 3 maps so far.

I added a script area to JAP's area, just so we know which is which.
I forgot to delete my StartArea, but isn't it ok that there is one? Just so you're able to play also.

I hope it's ok. So yea, I'm done... for now... Am I allowed to return later?

RE: Many Hands - A Community Mapping Project

Yeah sure, you can definitely return later if you want to add more stuff! But we'll let some a few more people have a go, and see what they come up with Smile

Btw, we only really need the single map, then it doesn't get all confused, but Leave it there, so we can see how it evolved. Just everyone needs to use the LATEST version of it Smile

Edit: Also, don't worry about what other people think of it. Think of it as an expression of what you enjoy making, then we can all see what you're good at and how you do it Smile

Edit 2: It looks awesome Big Grin

Well I'll be taking the map right now then. Not gonna "cheat" much then eh?

RE: Many Hands - A Community Mapping Project

Okay done. Approx 8 hours of work gone to this. 2 new doors to expand the map from.
Next one to edit might want to change the skybox from beautiful pink to unactive (Edit -> Level Settings). A tool I don't think people use that much to check for holes and stuff.

So much fun messing around with the editor again! Smile
