Those are realistic and honest reviews, unlike hundreds of paid 11/10 Infinite, CoD, TLOU etc reviews.

But what do those pretentious French know eh?
Still, it'll give the haters something to gorge on.
We'll see but I think that someone paid them for write that shit...

Kotaku weighs in:
http://kotaku.com/amnesia-a-machine-for-...1274112886
"So, there's my (actual, official) review card. Despite some misfires and disappointing elements, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is a worthy successor to the first game. It's frequently dread-inducing, occasionally terrifying, and wonderfully, goofily grandiose. It's absolutely worth playing."
It should also be noted that it took him about 7 hours to finish it.

Common themes in these reviews seems to be a lower focus on actually scaring the player compared to TDD, something I was concerned about and is rather disappointing. Additionally, the removal of certain game mechanics proves to be divisive, although I think we all could've guessed that happening.

Damn, in a way I'm pretty relieved to hear this, more of a story person some reviewer said that the game itself isn't as bad (scary) as TDD but the story is pretty disturbing and haunting. (Very excited about this )
