The Three Week Map #1

To take some words from Acies I wanted to,

Gather a bunch of people, variously talented in mapping, with the goal of having each of them create a map for the sole purpose of roaming it.

No Puzzles, No Pressure, No monsters,

Pure atmosphere.

In three weeks time you should create a map, Make a custom story for it (for the sake of easy playability, not story and stuff, just plug it in the custom_story folder and roam), and upload the folder with your post so that Other's can roam it.

You can accompany your map with a screenshot, But the real purpose is to be able to roam the map, While the screenshot should look nice dont spend to much time on that one area or else the rest of your work might suffer.

Do we have a theme or just focus on anything based on an atmosphere?

Anything that focuses on atmosphere, No theme, Free-build your map to your wishes.

atmospheric scripting is cool, right? it wouldn't be very atmospheric with no triggered (subtle) events.

Would agree to the above, like, activating particles, sound effects and lighting changes would probably be all you need for it..

I won't participate to the first session because I'm too busy finishing The Silver Key in the planned time : <. I really like the idea and might give this project a try though, I think it could be really interesting !

I think subtle scripting should be allowed, like making a book fall of the shelf or a rock from a crack in the ceiling, etc.
